The Hubbard Dianetics Foundation reported the completion of a coordinated global outreach initiative aimed at encouraging personal development and goal-setting as individuals continue working toward their New Year’s resolutions.
According to publicly available surveys, many people begin the year with goals related to fitness, finances, and mental well-being, though follow-through can decline as the months progress. In response to this broader trend, volunteers affiliated with the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation organized outreach activities in multiple countries to distribute educational materials and introduce members of the public to the book Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard.
The organization stated that volunteers participated in community engagement activities across cities in North America, Europe, and other regions. Outreach efforts included informational displays and the distribution of books to interested individuals. The Foundation reported that volunteers engaged with communities in more than 50 countries as part of the initiative.
Representatives of the Foundation described the event as an opportunity to introduce readers to the concepts presented in Dianetics, which explores theories related to the mind and personal development. The book outlines its interpretation of how experiences may influence behavior and presents exercises intended for self-reflection.
Local volunteer Lauren Thornsberry, who participated in outreach efforts in Sacramento, shared her perspective:
“As I read Dianetics, I gained insights into my own experiences and personal growth. Sharing the book with others has been a meaningful experience for me.”
According to the organization, Dianetics-related seminars are offered through affiliated centers internationally for individuals interested in learning more about the subject matter discussed in the book.
