FE International, a leading M&A advisory firm, today announces the appointment of Marina Vizdoaga as Partner. The appointment strengthens the firm’s senior team across software, data, and AI deal execution, areas where buyer underwriting has grown markedly more demanding over the past two years.

“Marina sits at a rare intersection of buyside discipline and founder-side advocacy,” said Thomas Smale, Founder and CEO of FE International. “She has personally underwritten and closed deals on the institutional side of the table, and that perspective is exactly what founders need when they go to market today. Buyers are sharper, diligence is deeper, and process design now decides outcomes. Marina brings all three to our clients.”

Vizdoaga joins FE International with more than ten years of experience across capital allocation, institutional valuation, and deal execution. She previously served as Vice President of Investments at LTV SaaS Growth Fund, where she led acquisitions of founder-led software businesses and oversaw portfolio governance. Her work centered on durability of revenue, pricing power, and structural risk, and on structuring transactions that hold through diligence, execution, and post close performance. Her judgment on capital deployment was cited publicly in TechCrunch’s coverage of the $35M ThriveCart investment.

Earlier, Vizdoaga served in Valuation & Capital Markets at BDO USA, advising on institutional valuations across complex and contested transaction scenarios. She brings particular depth in software, data, and AI economics, including how cost structure, infrastructure dependency, and data ownership shape valuation and buyer behavior. Vizdoaga serves on the Advisory Board of Florida International University’s Master of Science in Finance program, where she earned her MS in Finance. “FE International has built one of the strongest founder-side advisory practices in the market, and the depth of the platform is why I joined,” said Vizdoaga. “Founders going to market today face the deepest buyer scrutiny of the past decade. Positioning, underwriting, and process design now determine outcomes. The founders who understand that, win. The ones who don’t, leave value on the table they will never get back. Founders deserve advisors who can sit on both sides of the table before the process starts, not react to terms after they land.”

Vizdoaga is a member of 100 Women in Finance and the Financial Women’s Association. Her appointment further strengthens FE International’s position as a leader in technology M&A advisory services, particularly in the software and AI verticals where buyer scrutiny has intensified.
