Nina Minassian and Liana Ohanian earn a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California

Dordulian Law Group (DLG) is proud to announce that attorneys Nina Minassian and Liana Ohanian have been selected to the 2027 Southern California Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers. No more than 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California receive this distinction each year, placing both attorneys among the most accomplished young lawyers in the region.
Rising Stars selections are made through a rigorous multiphase process that combines peer nominations, peer evaluations, and independent research by the Super Lawyers research team. To be eligible, candidates must be 40 years old or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less. Because the list is driven largely by recognition from fellow attorneys, inclusion reflects the respect a lawyer has earned from peers who have seen their work firsthand.
Nina Minassian: Turning the Defense Playbook Against Insurers
Before joining DLG, Nina Minassian was a defense litigator at a premier insurance defense firm, where she represented and advised some of the nation’s largest insurance companies in personal injury, premises liability, toxic exposure, and wrongful death matters. Today she uses that insider knowledge of how insurers evaluate, delay, and defend claims to fight for injured plaintiffs and their right to full compensation. She brings compassion to her practice, understanding that behind every case is an individual whose life has been profoundly affected. Her work has been instrumental in securing millions of dollars in settlements and favorable resolutions on behalf of her clients, demonstrating her commitment in achieving meaningful results.
Minassian earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Northridge. She is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all California state courts and all four United States District Courts in California, reflecting the breadth of her litigation practice and experience in both state and federal courts.
Liana Ohanian: One of California’s Youngest Practicing Attorneys
Liana Ohanian was recognized as one of California’s youngest practicing attorneys when she was admitted to the State Bar at age 22. She has dedicated her career to representing plaintiffs in complex matters, including commercial trucking accidents, wrongful death matters, and premises liability cases. In 2025, Ohanian, alongside attorney Sam Dordulian, helped secure a jury verdict recognized among California’s Top 100 Personal Injury Verdicts and Top 50 Premises Liability Verdicts, and was subsequently featured in the April 2026 issue of the American Association for Justice’s Trial magazine.
At Southwestern Law School, Ohanian was a Dean’s Merit Scholar, a recipient of the Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship, and earned Top Grade Awards in Copyright Law and Wills & Trusts. She was active in the American Inns of Court and the Dean’s Leadership Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), American Association for Justice (AAJ) and is admitted to the Bar of the Central District of California.
